Create rewards Closed beta

Admins create and manage rewards in the Campaign Manager. Each reward defines the number of loyalty points a customer needs to unlock it, who is eligible for it, and what happens when a customer uses it.

Create a reward​

To create a reward:

  1. On the leftmost menu, click Incentives > Rewards.

  2. Click Create reward.

  3. In the Name field, enter a name for the reward.

  4. In the API name field, enter an identifier for integration purposes.

  5. Optional: In the Description field, enter a description for the reward.

  6. In Connected Application, select the Application where customers can access this reward.

    Note

    You can't edit the connected Application after you create the reward.

  7. Click Create reward.

Create rules and set points required​

A reward's Rules tab contains an eligibility rule, a reward rule, and the Points required setting.

Add an eligibility rule​

An eligibility rule lets you manage who can unlock the reward.

  1. On the leftmost menu, click Incentives > Rewards.
  2. Click the name of the reward you want to configure.
  3. In the Eligibility rule section, click Add Condition.
  4. Configure the condition.
Note

Custom attributes are available for the following entities: Customer profile, loyalty card, loyalty program, and Application.

Alternatively, click Always eligible to make the reward available to all customers, with no eligibility condition.

Add a reward rule​

A reward rule lets you manage what happens when a customer uses the reward.

  1. On the leftmost menu, click Incentives > Rewards.
  2. Click the name of the reward you want to configure.
  3. In the Reward rule section, under Conditions, click Add Condition.
  4. Under Effects, click Add Effect.
  5. Select and configure the effect.
Note

A reward rule must have at least one effect.

Alternatively, click Always allow using this reward to skip conditions and always apply the effects you configure.

Set points required​

To set the points required for the reward:

  1. On the leftmost menu, click Incentives > Rewards.
  2. Click the name of the reward you want to configure.
  3. In the top-right corner, click Points required.
  4. In the Set points required drawer, select the Loyalty program to deduct points from.
  5. Select a Subledger. The main ledger is always available as an option.
  6. In the Points field, enter the number of points required to unlock the reward.
  7. Click Save.
