Managing templates
Listing templates
To list the available templates, click Templates in the left-most menu.
This page displays the available templates. It contains the following information:
Column | Description |
Template | Name of the template. It indicates the template state through a color code indicated at the top of the page. The template state can be:

ID | Unique number identifying the template. It can be used for integration purposes. |
Created | Date when the template was created. |
Created by | User who created the template. |
Placeholders | Number of placeholders defined in the template. |
Budgets | Number of budgets set in the template. |
Attributes | Number of mandatory attributes included in the template. |
Campaigns | Number of campaigns created from the template. |
Disabling templates
The campaign templates are automatically enabled when you create them. You can disable an active template for it not to appear as an option when creating new campaigns. This does not affect those campaigns that you created from this template.
- Click Templates in the left-most menu.
- Click the name of the template you want to disable.
- Click Disable template.
- Click Disable:

in the pop-up that appears.
A pop-up notification appears, indicating that the template has been disabled.
Enabling templates
Enable a disabled template in order to be able to use it for creating new campaigns.
- Click Templates in the left-most menu.
- Click the name of the template you want to enable.
- Click Activate template.
A pop-up notification appears, indicating that the template has been enabled.
Searching for templates
You can find templates by their names or tags.
- Click Templates in the left-most menu.
- Type the required name or tag in the search bar at the top of the page.

You can use uppercase or lowercase, an exact match is not necessary.
You see the templates matching the words you have typed.
Filtering templates
You can filter your templates by:
- State: Use the checkboxes at the top of the Templates page.
- Creation date: Click Filter to the right of the search bar on the Templates page to define a time frame.

Click Clear Filters to the right of the search bar to see again all the templates once you have found those you were looking for.
Editing templates
You can modify some characteristics of a template after it has been created:
- In Basic info, you can edit the template's name, description, tags, usage guide and connected Applications.
- In Template Placeholders, you can add, edit and delete placeholders. You can only edit placeholders if they are not used in rules.
- In Budgets and Attributes, you can edit, create and delete budgets, and define new values for mandatory attributes.
- In Coupon Codes, you can define new characteristics for the coupon codes automatically generated by any Create coupon code effect in rules.
Once you edit all required details, click Save and close. A notification pops up, indicating that the template has been updated.

If the template status is Draft
, click Save as draft to keep it as a draft, or Activate
template to save the changes and activate the template. If you click Activate template,
the template automatically appears as enabled on the Templates page.
Deleting templates
You can delete templates that you do not need anymore.
- Click Templates in the left-most menu.
- Click the name of the template you want to delete.
- Click Delete template at the top-right corner of the page.
- Click Delete:

in the pop-up that appears.
A pop-up notification appears, indicating that the template has been deleted.
