Managing templates
You can manage your templates directly from your campaigns.
Disabling a template
The campaign templates are automatically enabled when you create them. You can disable an enabled template for it not to appear as an option when creating new campaigns. This does not affect those campaigns that you created from this template.
- On the leftmost menu, click Templates.
- Click the name of the template you want to disable.
- Click Disable Template.
- In the pop-up that appears, click Disable Template.
Enabling a template
Enable a disabled template in order to be able to use it for creating new campaigns.
- On the leftmost menu, click Templates.
- Click the name of the template you want to enable.
- Click Activate Template.
Editing a template
You can modify some characteristics of a template after it has been created.
- On the leftmost menu, click Templates.
- Click the name of the template you want to edit.
- In Rule Builder, you can edit the Rule Builder, create placeholders, and edit existing placeholders.
- In Coupons, you can edit the characteristics of the coupon codes automatically generated by any Create coupon code effect in the rules of the campaigns created from the template. These settings can be overridden when creating the effects.
- In Settings > Details, you can edit the template's
basic information.
- In Basic info, you can edit:
- The Name under which the template appears in the Campaign Manager.
- The Description that helps users identify the template.
- (Optional) The Tags, separated with commas.
- In Instructions, you can edit the explanation for other users to better understand how to use this template.
- In Connected Applications, you can edit the Applications where the template is available.
- In Basic info, you can edit:
- In Settings > Budgets, you can create and edit budgets for the campaigns created from this template.
- In Settings > Attributes, you can edit and define default values of any mandatory campaign attributes.
Deleting a template
You can delete templates that you don't need anymore.
- On the leftmost menu, click Templates.
- Click the name of the template you want to delete.
- In Settings > Delete, click Delete Template.
- In the pop-up that appears, click Delete Template.
