Displaying the Application dashboard

The Application dashboard provides you with detailed data about the influence of your campaigns on the number of sessions, generated revenue, and average session value. You can view this data for all the campaigns in your Application or filter it by campaign.

Displaying the analytics data

To display the analytics data on the Application dashboard:

  1. On the leftmost menu, click Apps, and select an Application.
  2. On the left-side menu, click Dashboard.

By default, any available data is displayed for all the campaigns of the Application.

To view data for specific campaigns or groups of them, use one of the search options from the Campaigns dropdown. You can search by campaign name, tag, or access group.

note
  • The Tag search option is displayed only if at least one of your campaigns contain tags.
  • The Access group search option is displayed only if the Application is added to at least one campaign access group.

You can also refine your search using the available campaign filters.

Understanding the analytics data

The Application dashboard contains the following data points, each displayed as an expandable card:

Data pointDescription
RevenueThe revenue generated from all purchases.
SessionsThe number of closed sessions.
Avg. Session ValueThe average pre-discount order value.
Avg. Items per SessionThe average number of cart items from closed sessions.

For each data point, the following types of values are available:

Value typeDescription
Total values

Total values represent the data based on all evaluated sessions. This includes sessions that did not trigger any effects in Talon.One.

Influenced values

Influenced values represent the data based only on the sessions that triggered at least one effect, excluding webhooks and notifications.

Influence rate

The influence rate represents the relation between the total and influenced values. It helps you understand the proportion of the sessions or revenue influenced by Talon. One in relation to all evaluated sessions.

For example, in a campaign where effects are triggered on every second purchase, the influence rate is 50%.

note
For Avg. Session Value, the uplift value, if displayed, indicates the increase in the influenced value compared to the total value.

Below the data points, an increase or decrease in the displayed values is expressed as a percentage.

Exploring data points

To explore a data point further, click or its title. The card expands to display the following information about the data point:

  • The changes to the values over the selected time period in a graph format.
  • The campaigns that contributed to the displayed values.
    note

This list includes any deleted campaigns if All campaigns is selected in the Campaigns dropdown.

tip
  • You can select the time period for which you want to view data:
    • Click Custom and set custom start and end dates or select a predefined time frame:

      • Yesterday: The previous day.
      • 7D: The previous 7 days.
      • 30D: The previous 30 days.
      • 3M: The previous 3 months.
      • 6M: The previous 6 months.
      • YTD: Year to date.

  • You can hover over the different points of the graph to see the change in the values across the displayed time period.
