Create audiences 

You can create audiences in Talon.One via the Campaign Manager or via the Integration API.

tip

Using the Integration API can be useful to sync your data warehouse with Talon.One during the audience creation process.

To create an audience via the Campaign Manager:

  1. On the leftmost menu, click Audiences.

  2. Click Create Audience.

  3. In Name, type a name for the audience.

  4. (Optional) In Description, enter some information to help you identify the audience.

  5. In Environment, select the environment where you want to create your audience. You cannot change the audience environment after you have created the audience.

  6. In Connected Applications, select the Applications where you want the audience to be available. To restrict the audience to certain Applications only, select Specific Applications.

  7. (Optional) In Import members, click Upload a CSV file and select a CSV file with a list of audience members from your computer. This can be done after creating the audience.

    tip

    You can also add members to or remove them from an audience using the Update audience effect in your rules. Importing a CSV file with audience members does not trigger the Update audience effect.

  8. Click Create Audience.
