Displaying products

Feature access
This feature is in the early access phase. To unlock this feature, contact your Customer Success Manager.

The products dashboard provides you with detailed analytics about the individual products and SKUs that represent items in your inventory. This enables you to understand more about how your promotions align, identify trends in product purchase, and build targeted campaigns.

Using the dashboard, you can access detailed information about the following:

  • Product: Product that the item in an inventory belongs to. A product is a group of SKUs.
  • SKU: Stock keeping unit of the item in the inventory.
note
  • Product data displays only if you group an SKU as a product. You can do this by adding the product attribute programmatically to an item in a cart item catalog connected to your Application.
  • SKU data displays even if a cart item catalog is not connected.

Listing the top products and SKUs sold

By default, data is displayed for the 10 most purchased Products and SKUs in the Application over the past seven days.

To view data about the top products and SKUs sold:

  1. On the leftmost menu, click Apps, and select an Application.
  2. On the left-side menu, click Products.

Exploring the data

You can view more detailed data for a top product or SKU sold. In addition, you can search by product or SKU to view data for any items that have been sold.

note

The dashboard includes data from sessions whose state is set to closed.

To view more detailed data for a top product or SKU sold, click its title. The page that opens displays the changes to the Units Sold values over the selected time period in a graph format. It also contains a link to a cart item catalog if one is connected, as well as the following information:

ColumnDescription
SKUStock keeping unit of the item.
Units SoldTotal number of items sold. Based on the sales of cart items after sessions are closed.
Last GroupedDate and time when the SKU was last grouped as a product.
tip
  • You can select the time period for which you want to view data:
    • Click Custom and set custom start and end dates or select a predefined time frame:

      • Yesterday: The previous day.
      • 7D: The previous 7 days.
      • 30D: The previous 30 days.
      • 3M: The previous 3 months.
      • 6M: The previous 6 months.
      • YTD: Year to date.
      • Max: The maximum time period for which data is available.
      note

The predefined time frames do not include the current day. For example, if the current date is October 8 and you selected 7D as your preferred time frame, you'll see data for October 1-7, including the first day and the last day.

  • You can hover over the different points of the graph to see the change in the values across the displayed time period.
