Integrate with Klaviyo Closed beta

Talon.One supports integrating with Klaviyo using a dedicated integration in the Integration Hub.

Klaviyo integration features​

The Talon.One Klaviyo integration in the Integration Hub enables data synchronization between Klaviyo and Talon.One.

By creating a bidirectional data flow, the integration allows you to do the following:

  • Receive customer profile IDs from Klaviyo.
  • Receive segments and lists from Klaviyo and store them as Talon.One audiences.
  • Generate coupon codes in Talon.One and send them to Klaviyo.
  • Send loyalty points and tier information from Talon.One to Klaviyo.

From Klaviyo to Talon.One​

  • Customer profile IDs: The profile sync matches customer profiles in Klaviyo against existing profiles in Talon.One. You can choose a Klaviyo profile identifier, for example, external_id, to match against the customer integration ID in Talon.One.

    For each match, a KlaviyoId custom attribute is added to the Talon.One customer profile. The attribute is then used, for example, to look up profiles in Klaviyo when sending loyalty data.

    Note

    For the profile sync, the following rules apply:

    • If a Klaviyo customer profile does not exist in Talon.One, it will be created.
    • If a Klaviyo customer profile already exists in Talon.One, it will be updated with the information from Klaviyo. Specifically, the KlaviyoId custom attribute will be populated with the corresponding Klaviyo ID.
    • If a customer profile exists in Talon.One, but not in Klaviyo, it will not be created in Klaviyo.
    • If you delete a profile in Klaviyo, the corresponding customer profile in Talon.One will not be deleted.

  • Segments and lists: During the audience sync, the lists and segments you select in Klaviyo are synced to Talon.One and created as audiences.

From Talon.One to Klaviyo​

  • Loyalty points and tier information: If you configure the loyalty sync, Talon.One updates the mapped profile properties in Klaviyo. For example, if the loyalty balance of a customer changes in Talon.One, the corresponding profile property in Klaviyo is updated accordingly. Also, Talon.One sends a corresponding event, such as Tier Upgrade, whenever a customer's points or tier change.
  • Coupon codes: Talon.One can generate coupon codes specifically for use in Klaviyo. There, you can use them, for example, in a birthday email.
