Achievement entity
The achievements feature, also known as the Gamification Engine, is an entity in Talon.One that defines a goal a customer must reach to unlock a reward. Use achievements to build retail gamification campaigns to reward customers for completing missions and challenges.
Achievements can be one-time or recurring:
- One-time: The customer completes the achievement once. Completion is measured against a time period or fixed schedule.
- Recurring on expiration: The achievement resets after it expires, making it available again for the next period.
- Recurring on completion: The achievement resets each time the customer reaches the target, with no time limit. Progress beyond the target automatically carries over to the next iteration.
You can use achievements to drive customer engagement by rewarding customers for repeat purchases, spending milestones, or any other measurable action.
